Ait Bougmez Valley Trek Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Marrakech

Upon arrival in Marrakech, you'll be greeted by our friendly team and transferred to your hotel for the night.

You'll have some time to explore the vibrant city of Marrakech or relax after your journey.

Take the opportunity to visit the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, explore the souks, or simply unwind at your accommodation before beginning your Ait Bougmez Valley trekking adventure.

Day 2

Marrakech – Azilal – Ait Bougmez

After breakfast, we'll depart for Ait Bougmez Valley, passing through the scenic Tizi-n-Test pass and the town of Azilal.

The journey offers spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains and rural Moroccan landscapes.

We'll arrive in the valley in the afternoon and settle into our accommodations before enjoying a traditional Berber dinner.

This is your first taste of the authentic hospitality that characterizes this region.

Day 3

Arrous – Ait Imi

Today we'll begin our trekking adventure with a 5-hour hike to the village of Ait Imi, passing through the stunning Arrous Valley along the way.

We'll enjoy a picnic lunch in a beautiful spot with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

The trail takes us through traditional agricultural terraces and past Berber settlements where life continues much as it has for centuries.

Day 4

Ait Imi Spring – Adazen Pass – Ifran Village

We'll start the day with a 6-hour hike to the Adazen Pass, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the valley below.

The climb is rewarding, with ever-expanding vistas as you ascend.

We'll then descend to the traditional Berber village of Ifran, where we'll stay for the night.

Experience authentic village life and enjoy the hospitality of the local community.

Day 5

Ifran Village – Izoughar Lake – Zaouit Alzmi Village

After breakfast, we'll continue our Ait Bougmez trekking adventure with a 5-hour hike to the stunning Izoughar Lake, one of the hidden gems of Ait Bougmez Valley.

The pristine mountain lake offers a perfect spot for relaxation and reflection.

We'll then descend to the village of Zaouit Alzmi, where we'll stay for the night and enjoy our final evening in the valley.

Day 6

Ait Bougmez Valley – Marrakech

On our final day, we'll hike back to Ait Bougmez Valley and enjoy a farewell lunch before returning to Marrakech in the afternoon.

You'll have some free time to explore the city before transferring to the airport for your flight home, filled with unforgettable memories of your Ait Bougmez Valley trekking adventure.
