Detailed Itinerary
Imlil - Tachadirt via Tizi n'Tamatert Pass (2,297 m)
Depart from Imlil to Tachadirt via the Tizi n'Tamatert Pass (2,297 m). This stage allows us to visit many villages in the Nimnane Massif.
Discover the agricultural traditions of the Berber people. See irrigated terraces rising along the valley banks.
The main canal lies between brown mountains and green fields. Villages are built on top to preserve fertile land.
Overnight in a bivouac or Berber lodge if available.
Tachadirt - Imsker
Descend the beautiful Tachadirt Valley. Pass through traditional Berber villages along the way.
Arrive at noon at the village of Argue. Enjoy lunch and continue to Imsker village (1600m).
Overnight in a comfortable bivouac.
Imsker - Azzaden via Imsker Pass (1900m)
Depart from Imsker village towards the Azaden Valley. Cross the scenic Imsker Pass (1900m).
Descend towards Imiouglad village. Then climb the Tizi n Tachte Pass (2672m).
Enjoy lunch after the pass. Descend to Azaden Valley and reach Id Issa village.
Overnight in a bivouac or local lodge.
Azzaden - Imlil via Tizi Mzek Pass
Depart from Id Issa village to Tizioussem. Cross the beautiful Tizi Mzek Pass.
Enjoy lunch in Mzek village. Continue the scenic journey back to Imlil.
